Angular Correlation and Angular Distribution Attenuation Coefficients

Abstract
Attenuation coefficients for angular correlation measurements and angular distribution measurements have been calculated for sodium iodide crystals of 1.5‐in. diam and various heights. The crystals considered are right circular cylinders of heights 1.0, 1.25, and 1.5 in. Eleven photon energies in the range from 0.05 to 5.0 Mev were used. Attenuation coefficients for crystals of diameters other than 1.5 in. may be obtained from these results.
