Abstract
Intercorrelations of five statistical indices of profile similarity and visual judgments were studied by means of intercorrelations. Results showed a wide range of disagreement among the various measures. "Cattell's coefficient showed the closest agreement with visual judgments, while the indices of DuMas, Meehl, Osgood and Suci, and Pearson followed in that order. The greatest agreement among the statistical indices was that between the coefficients of Meehl and Osgood." (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2006 APA, all rights reserved)Keywords
