Acute Subdural Haematoma

Abstract
In the author''s experience the bleeding in acute subdural hematoma is more often than not from the inferior cerebral veins passing to the transverse, sphenoparietal or superior petrosal sinuses. A vigorous attempt to locate and seal off the bleeding points is advocated. A modified operative procedure is described and 2 cases described.
