Abstract
In the author''s experience the bleeding in acute subdural hematoma is more often than not from the inferior cerebral veins passing to the transverse, sphenoparietal or superior petrosal sinuses. A vigorous attempt to locate and seal off the bleeding points is advocated. A modified operative procedure is described and 2 cases described. Keywords
