Abstract
The resistive transition of two-dimensional arrays of ∼ 3 × Pb-Cu proximity junctions is measured with and without external magnetic field. The results for small fields are found to be consistent with the theory of Kosterlitz and Thouless and its extension by Minnhagen. We also observe oscillations in the array resistance with field corresponding to half a flux quantum per cell and one flux quantum per cell.
