Abstract
A time-of-flight electron transmission spectrometer was employed to measure the absolute total electron-scattering cross section (elastic plus inelastic, integrated over all angles) for molecular hydrogen for incident electron energies from 1 to 50 eV. A complete error analysis is included. Comparisons are made with recent measurements and calculations. Keywords
