Abstract
The equations of motion are examined for the behaviour of massive bodies in the nonsymmetric theory of gravitation. There are two parameters η and ζ which determine the ratio of gravitational and inertial mass mg/mi = 1 + Δ. In the parameterized post-Newtonian order of the nonsymmetric theory it is shown that η = ζ = 0, where η is the Nordtvedt parameter. The magnitudes of the dominant terms in the equations of motion are given for various planet–sun systems. Keywords
