Computerizing occupational carcinogenic data in Finland

Abstract
At the Institute of Occupational Health in Finland a system is under development for data base management. It records the presence of potential occupational hazards caused by carcinogenic substances and agents at workplaces. With the implementation of this system, called ASA (register of employees ocupationally exposed to substances and working processes possibly causing cancer risk), the prevention and control of carcinogenic hazards at workplaces will be more effective than before. The 1st yr to be included is 1979.
