Abstract
Two children with congenital mitral valvular disease underwent prosthetic valve replacement. Following surgery, tracheobronchial cartilaginous ring calcification was observed on routine chest radiographs. The clinical significance of this occurrence is not clear, but it is a distinctly unusual finding, previously reported in infants with laryngeal stridor. Keywords
