Abstract
The steady-state properties of transverse circularly polarized waves propagating along a static magnetic field in a uniform plasma (metal) are considered. Using the Landau theory of Fermi liquids, we compute the effect of correlations on the reflection properties of a semi-infinite metallic plasma. The expressions are numerically evaluated and discussed for a range of parameters pertinent to the alkalis. Keywords
