CEREBELLAR ATROPHY: A CISTERNOGRAPHIC AND PNEUMOENCEPHALOGRAPHIC ANALYSIS

Abstract
The cisternographic appearance of 6 patients with cerebellar atrophy is reviewed. These findings are correlated with those found at pneumoencephalography in 5. The analysis suggests that one cannot, at present, specifically diagnose cerebellar atrophy by CSF imaging, but that it offers excellent promise as a screening procedure.
