Abstract
The nuclear spin and moments of the radioactive isotope have been measured by the atomic-beam magnetic-resonance method. These measurements were performed in the fine-structure state. The spin was measured to be and the hyperfine interaction constants were determined to be: Mc/sec and Mc/sec, with . From the known hyperfine interaction constants and nuclear moments of and the nuclear magnetic dipole and electric quadrupole moments were calculated. The results are (with no diamagnetic or Sternheimer corrections): nm and b, with . These results are interpreted from the point of view of certain shell-model calculations.
