Abstract
The microslide immunodiffusion technique of Wadsworth was modified to make it compatible with currently available laboratory equipment and to increase its efficiency, reliability, and precision. The wells in the acrylic template were enlarged to 2.0 mm to allow use of the Micro/Pettor C pipetting system for rapid, precise, uniform, and bubble-free filling of the wells. This technique has been used successfully for several immunological tests, particularly for the detection and assay of Clostridium perfringens enterotoxin and antienterotoxin.
