Abstract
Six recent reports of the results of Radial Keratotomy are summarized. In order to improve these results, the percentage of under- and overcorrected patients must be reduced. Hopefully, this can be accomplished by more careful patient selection and improved surgical plans aided by the various radial keratotomy predictive software programs that are now available. Pharmacologic manipulation of corneal wound healing and improvements in instrumentation should also be helpful. Keywords
