Abstract

Methods for testing adherence to the Hardy-Weinberg ratio in population inheritance with multiple alleles are discussed. Using conditional probability, the distribution of number of homo-zygotes expected under this ratio can be found. The test will follow readily. Analogy to card matching is shown.
