Abstract
• A man complaining of blurred vision had diffuse retinal capillary telangiectasia as a primary retinal finding. Evaluation of the carotid arteries by a noninvasive angiographic method revealed bilateral, silent occlusions of both common carotid arteries. Thus, some cases of "idiopathic retinal capillary telangiectasia" may in fact be harbingers of underlying carotid artery disease. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
