Abstract
The differential cross section for the gravitational scattering of two massless particles is calculated in general relativity using two methods. In the classical calculation light-like geodesics are integrated in Bonner's metric (1969). In quantum field theory the Einstein-Hilbert action is developed according to the weak field approximation and the cross section computed in the Born approximation. Both cross sections agree, in contrast to results published earlier.
