Abstract
The wind boxplot, a graphic display of distributions of wind speed and directional data, is defined and presented in several alternate forms. The wind boxplot displays the characteristics of the data distributions more successfully than does the traditional wind rose and is readily adapted to computer statistics and graphics systems. Keywords
