Abstract
The use of operational amplifiers in active network synthesis has been considered in some detail. In particular, the realization of the different types of gyrators that have been defined earlier and of a generalized transformer defined in this paper has been given. It is shown that operational amplifiers may be used to advantage in the synthesis of the different network functions, like the voltage transfer, driving point impedance and open-circuit transfer impedance functions. A method of synthesizing arbitrary zeros of all the y-parameters of a two-port and its extension to an n-port have been presented. Keywords
