Abstract
It is shown that for the meson-nucleon scattering processes an intermediate-coupling method can be applied which joins smoothly the results obtained from the weak- and strong-coupling limits. The method is illustrated by a detailed study of the charged scalar meson field with fixed nucleon. Keywords
