Abstract
In expts. on 3 dogs, saliva and hepatic bile when in contact with the gastric mucosa stimulated secretion by a local secreta-gogic action only very slightly, the latter more than the former; pancreatic juice had a slight local secretagogic action, or none. Bile and pancreatic juice stimulated the production of a mucoid or diluting fluid by the gastric mucosa to a slight extent in the dilutions used.
