Abstract
The way in which measurements of the pressure distribution in settling columns of cement/water suspensions can be used to determine the development of interparticle reactions, the distribution of stresses over the base and walls of the containing vessel, the rates of reaction and the variation of the permeability of the hydrating paste with time is illustrated. Keywords
