Abstract
Scattering of 362 MeV polarized protons from to the ground, (3.74 MeV), (3.90 MeV), and (4.49 MeV) states has been studied from 3° to 65° in the laboratory. Measured values of dσ/dΩ and are compared with standard relativistic and nonrelativistic calculations using transition densities from random-phase-approximation calculations and electron scattering data.
