Abstract
The motion of a terthered buoyant platform (TBP) in a regular train is investigated numerically using the Zienkiewicz four‐time‐level scheme.5 Wave forces are calculated using Morison's equation7 and linear wave theory. Results are presented for the theoretical response to the periodic forcing function for an optimized method,6 Wood, A.,6 Wilson θ =1.412 and Houbolt13 and compared with the actual computed behaviour of the TBP.Keywords
