Abstract
The radiation patterns of bulk waves generated by an interdigital transducer and their reflection patterns at the bottom plane of a Y‐cut Z‐propagating LiNbO3 have been observed clearly on the crystal using a frequency‐shift‐holography method. The effects of polarization of the observing light of this method and the effect of roughing the bottom plane of the crystal have been studied. Keywords
