Abstract
In those instances of failed posterior arthrodesis for spondylolisthesis, iatrogenic spondylolisthesis due to posterior neural decompression or severe (grade III or IV) spondylolisthesis, anterior stabilization using a fibular strut graft appears to be feasible and successful. Eleven patients were treated with this technique and ten achieved solid anterior arthrodesi; the eleventh fused posterolaterally. All improved symptomatically with no postoperative complications, including sexual dysfunction in the male. Keywords
