Abstract
The difference in minimum error of telemetry locations was highly significant (P < 0.005) between 2 pilots used for aerially radiotracking white-tailed deer (Odocoileus virginianus) in NE Minnesota [USA]. Increased error was a function of increasing wind speed but did not differ significantly (P > 0.50) between pilots. The area encompassed by the error varied as much as a hundredfold between pilots. The differences in pilot attitude, interest and experience were felt to influence the error.
