Abstract
Male mice of 2 strains, sub-groups of which were raised in isolation or with female litter-mates, were tested in a situation designed to evoke aggressive behavior. The 2 strains differed in aggression scores, isolation not appearing as a significant variable in aggression. Non-isolates did nose the genital area of stimulus mice more frequently. Significantly more attacks were made on stimulus animals of unlike strains. Keywords
