Abstract
The exact solution of a radiative transfer problem requires the reduction of the integro-differential transport equation to an integral equation. This paper considers the transport equation in a general three-dimensional space, when the scattering function consists of the first three terms of a series of Legendre polynomials. The resulting integral equations may then be used for the solution of Radiative Transfer problems in any space. where the radiation is restricted to normal incidence.
