Abstract
On the assumption that the SU(2)(X)U(1) symmetry of the zero-mass electroweak model undergoes dynamical breakdown to charge U(1), the authors apply the gauge technique to determine an equation for the ratio of the boson mass to the averaged fermion mass of a given generation; this equation appears to have more than one solution. Keywords
