Abstract
Measurements of intratumor temperature build-up in locally heated superficial tumor in the footpads of mice were analyzed. The intratumor temperature rise consisted of 2 slopes before the temperature reached a steady state. An empirical equation was developed, allowing a close estimate of the intratumor steady state temperature. This study is a model for heat treatment of cancer. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
