Traumatic Arteriovenous Fistulas Involving Middle Meningeal Vessels

Abstract
Two fistulas involving the middle meningeal artery and veins were situated over the convexity of the skull. Neurosurgery was required in one case; spontaneous closure took place in the second. The anatomic basis of meningeal fistulas was related to the origin of extradural hemorrhage. An extradural hematoma was a concomitant finding in one case.
