Abstract
Measurements of thermal conductivity in the range 0.08-5 K of LiF and NaCl containing 500 low-angle grain boundaries per cm give little or no evidence for phonon scattering from these boundaries. In light of available models of phonon scattering, this suggests that the grain boundaries are sessile. Keywords
