Abstract
Different central regions for the MSU 500 MeV superconducting cyclotron are designed and extensively studied in order to find central regions which would yield desired beam qualities for the wide variety of ions and energies which we plan to accelerate. Coupled operation of the 500 and 800 MeV superconducting cyclotrons is included in this study. Keywords
