Abstract
A series of trials was set up to investigate the acute and sub-acute oral toxicity of brodifacoum to the European rabbit (Oryctolagus cuniculus). The acute, oral LD50 was 0.20 mg kg−1 (95% confidence limits 0.15–0.28 mg kg−1). The 3- and 5-day sub-acute oral LD50s were 0.22 mg kg−1 (0.15–0.31 mg kg−1) and 0.16 mg kg−1 (0.12–0.21 mg kg−1) respectively. Keywords
