Measurement of $\frac{J}{ψ}$ and $ψ^{'}$ production in 300-GeV/c proton, antiproton, and $π^{\pm}$ interactions with nuclei

Abstract

Hadroproduction of the

\frac{J}{ψ}

and

ψ^{'}

states has been studied in 300-GeV/c proton, antiproton, and

π^{\pm}

Li interactions. Both total and differential cross sections in

x_{F}

and

p_{T}

have been measured for the

\frac{J}{ψ}

for the

π^{\pm}

, proton, and antiproton interactions. The ratio of

ψ^{'}

to

\frac{J}{ψ}

production has been determined for the four types of beam particles.
