Short report: Parkinsonism after traumatic childbirth

Abstract
An extrapyramidal syndrome in 3 women after traumatic childbirth is described. Traumatic childbirth in these patients was in some way causative whether as a result of hypoxia, vascular insult or some other factor. The fact that the patients had pyramidal tract signs suggests a fairly diffuse damage.
