Abstract
These experiments on normo-volemic animals gave no clue as to the causative factors leading to the increased bleeding time observed following infusion of certain plasma expanders. This hemostatic defect did not occur in all animals given the expanders. No consistency was noted in respect to onset or duration of effect. Keywords
