Abstract
We provide an example demonstrating the significance of the clumpy natures of diffuse sources for their evolution. We present a one-dimensional, time-dependent hydrodynamic model with mass injection, from engulfed clumps, into shocked stellar wind of a Wolf-Rayet wind-blown nebula. The observed bubble radius and expansion velocity are matched. Most importantly, the model reproduces the broad velocity range over which gas with temperatures less than about 1.5 × 105 K is observed. Keywords
