Abstract
The chloroplast electron flow system is too labile in vitro to be used as a bioreactor. Preservation of photosystem II activity has been an especially refractive problem. A procedure was worked out using STN buffer (0.4 M sucrose, 0.05 M Tris, 0.01 M NaCl, pH 7.2), centrifugation and redox polymerization which retained photosystem II activity. The material was spinach leaves. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
