Abstract
A case is presented in which 10 ml of cystic fluid from a metastatic brain tumor contained a high concentration of carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA). The use of CEA as a prognostic indicator and adjunctive therapeutic monitor in tumors is reviewed.Keywords
