Abstract
A retrospective study of 22 patients who had surgical treatment for recurrent ameloblastoma of the jaws within a period of 16 yr was carried out. The recurrent lesion in 18 patients was due to an inadequate previous operation. Massive soft-tissue recurrences even after wide mandibular resection occurred in 4 patients. A malignant transformation was noted in 1 patient. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
