Abstract
It is shown theoretically that magnetically induced shadow peaks in two types of photoemission experiments may occur under different conditions. For the type I experiments, I find that shadow bands in $A(\omega,\vec{k}_{Fixed})$ can exist only in the renormalized classical regime $\omega_{sf} \ll T$. It is only in the type II experiments that a shadow feature in $A(\omega_{Fixed},\vec{k})$ can exist at zero temperature. I find, however, that this shadow feature is too small to explain present experiments in B2212. The conditions for which shadow bands can be observed in photoemission are discussed
