Abstract
The external sphincter spasticity syndrome is described in patients with regard to diagnosis, etiology, pathophysiology and treatment. Use of urodynamic techniques (especially urethral pressure profile and diagnostic pudendal blocks) and adrenolytic agents and diazepam in the treatment of the dysfunction is discussed. This clinical entity is probably more common than previously reported. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
