Abstract
The more distal (more "variable" or "unstable") tooth of each morphological class has lower size interrealtion-ships with the dentition as a whole than does the more mesial ("stable") tooth of the same morphological class. This confirms the existence of a pair of size fields, 1 controlling the more mesial teeth as a whole, and 1 controlling or determining the size of the more distal teeth of all 3 morphological classes. Keywords
