Production Properties of Mesons in at 13 GeV

Abstract
The momentum transfer () dependence of the and partial waves in the system is presented. The production of the meson ( MeV), which has a large decay mode, obeys approximate -channel helicity conservation. In contrast the production of the meson ( MeV), which decays predominantly to , satisfies approximate -channel helicity conservation. Furthermore the production distributions are virtually identical, whereas the distributions exhibit a distinct cross-over for Ge.
