Abstract
The south-western part of the Atmur-Delgo suture (Northern Province, Sudan) is a low to medium-grade island arc-ophiolite association exposed between high-grade gneissic and migmatitic basement. It evolved in the late Proterozoic by the closing of an oceanic basin, which induced the formation of an island arc. Keywords
