Abstract
Using radioisotope tracer technics and GC-mass spectrometry, a new metabolite of 5,5−diphenylhydantoin present in rat urine has been dentified as 5-(3,k-dihydroxyphenyI)-5-phenylhydantoin. This catechol represented about 2% of the total metabolites excreted in rat urine folowing administration of diphenylhydantoin in the diet for over two weeksKeywords
