Abstract
High enantioselectivity and unprecedented high regioselectivity without the need for hazardous organic solvents are achieved in rhodium-catalysed asymmetric hydroformylation with the perfluoroalkyl-substituted ligand (R,S)-3-H2F6-BINAPHOS, whereby the substitution pattern of the ligand is crucial for its successful use in compressed carbon dioxide and for the increased regioselectivity. Keywords
