Abstract
A 41/2 X 111/2 inch rectangular culture plate for use in the cylinder-plate method of penicillin assay is described. A guide used for dropping cylinders upon the inoculated culture plate is also described. The use of this equipment saves time in large-scale assay work and permits a higher degree of standardization than does the conventional Petri plate technique. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
