Abstract
C. phlei causes a leaf spot disease of timothy (Phleum pratense). Phleichrome is a principal compound involved in the phytotoxic effects. TLC, IR and PMR were used to help characterize the compound which is believed to have the structure 1,12-bis-(2-hydroxypropyl)-2,6,7,11-tetramethoxy-4,9-dihydroxyperylene-3, 10-quinone.This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
